#2 - GRETA PREPARES TO MEET THE MOVIE STAR
Greta
knew all about the famous movie star, Zane Craven. She
had just spent a week re-watching every single one of
his films on DVD. Even the one from the late eighties
where he had that awful haircut and played a werewolf.
Funny, Greta thought as she turned off the TV. and slipped
into her nightie--how Zane never mentioned that clunker
in his interviews!
Greta stood before her bathroom mirror and smiled at the prospect of finally
talking to him for Face Magazine. Would she dare mention
his early foibles? Tomorrow was the interview and she
was preparing herself for the big event. Her secret
confidence-booster—a mini facial with GreatSkin’s Pore Refining Pumpkin Mask. She mixed a splash of tepid water with GreatSkin’s Alpha Cleanser in the palm of her hand, lathering it up and applying it to her face in a sweeping
motion. Her face immediately felt cleansed and pure.
Greta took her time with this ritual, knowing that
if her skin felt great, she would feel great when she
sat across from Zane Craven at The Gotham Bar and Grill
on 12th Street ordering Roasted Salmon with Lemon Butter
from their prix fix menu, which they were, of course,
famous for.
Greta
opened the jar of GreatSkin Pore Refining Pumpkin Mask. What a delicious treat! The smell reminded her of pumpkin pie, falling leaves
and Thanksgiving in Connecticut. Ah, heaven!
With
her mask set, Greta relaxed on her couch and picked
up the file Guy Thompson had given to her in preparation
for the interview. She noticed there was nothing about
the werewolf film in any of the Vanity Fair or Rolling
Stone articles and for a moment, Greta thought perhaps
she should be the first to broach that subject. But
then again, this was her first assignment for Face
and Guy was taking a chance with her. She should stick
to recounting all of Zane’s great successes—the Golden Globe awards, the Oscar nomination, and of course his famous romances
with leading ladies. Yes, she thought--she’d play it safe. She’d ask the questions that would put Zane at ease and not ruffle any feathers.
Anyway, this was just the beginning of her tenure with
the handsome Guy Thompson and Face. She’d get more bold as Guy gave her more assignments. Or at least, this is what Greta
was hoping.
She
rinsed off the pumpkin mask with a warm, moist face
cloth and then took a cotton ball and applied GreatSkin Alcohol Free Toner to her face and neck. It gave her a squeaky clean feeling. Next, she applied GreatSkin C Serum. It tingled a bit and Greta quickly smoothed on the creamy GreatSkin® All In One Scalpel-less Face Lift® Cream. Greta wasn’t twenty-something anymore, but that didn’t mean she was going to look or act her real age anytime soon. She went to sleep
feeling wonderful!
In
fact, the next day, when she sat across from Zane Craven
and he gave her his famous Bad Boy Look—she felt so bold, she decided not to play it so safe, after all.
“So, Zane,” she
began with a little wink. “Did you ever get itchy in that werewolf costume?”
